Symptoms of TM Dysfunction:
(That occurs frequently)
- Dizziness
- Neck pain
- Headache pain which occurs in and around the eyes.
- Clicking, popping or grating sounds within the jaw joints.
- Difficulty in opening or moving the jaws.
- Ear pain without infection.
- Hearing changes such as ringing, diminished hearing or a clogged stuffy feeling.
- Sinus-type pain under the eyes.
If you have one or more of the above symptoms there is a strong possibility that at least part of your problem may be related to a dysfunction of your jaw structures. Moreover, if your problems have continued despite the efforts of your physician to provide relief, an evaluation by a professional trained in the areas of jaw dysfunction and head and neck pain would certainly be advisable.
