ABOUT THE COVER
The key symbolizes "Service." Its heart-shaped handle symbolizes "Love." Aside from its form, "Love" and "Service" are the main elements and substance of a successful discipline. The color red symbolizes "Love" and "Lifeblood" while black symbolizes Hatred and "Death." The way we discipline can lead us to either "Life" or "Death" - physical and spiritual. The yellow color symbolizes rationality and intellect. All discipline must be rationally accepted if they are to prosper and succeed. Gold symbolizes wisdom - the "Will" and teachings of Jesus Christ in our discipline. White is the source of all colors representing the "201 Ways - How to Discipline." It symbolizes purity of motive in our discipline.
ABOUT THE BOOK
In conclusion the essence of discipline is discipleship - our real purpose in life - God's "will" to mankind. Life is useless and meaningless without discipline and eventual discipleship to man. Jesus Christ came to earth purposely to preach His discipline (to save mankind) through His disciples - performing discipleship duties. John 16:22: "If I had not come to tell them, they would have no sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin." HE wants all of us to continue this purpose of discipleship. Thus, before leaving earth, He said: Matthew 28: 18: All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Inspired and mandated by these verses, the author has established the "Discipleship for Christ Foundation, Inc." Part of the sales of this book shall be given as a tithe to the Foundation to pursue discipleship missions.
